Getting involved on UK’s campus can enhance your UK experience. We value the relationship between what happens inside and outside the classroom. Finding an organization you are passionate about will help you develop a skill set that can’t be beaten. Developing your own style of leadership is found in each opportunity you create at UK.

Association for Data and Computation (ADC)
The Association for Data and Computation (ADC) is a dynamic graduate student organization at the University of Kentucky that brings together students from the Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Data Science departments. ADC is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant academic and professional community by promoting collaboration, communication, and personal growth among graduate students. Through a variety of social gatherings, professional development workshops, and outreach initiatives, ADC provides students with opportunities to connect beyond the classroom. Monthly general meetings keep members informed and engaged, while career-focused events—such as tech talks, resume sessions, research presentation, and alumni panels—support academic success and career readiness. ADC also plays a key role in fostering strong relationships between graduate students and faculty, acting as a communication bridge to encourage mentorship, feedback, and collaboration. By building a close-knit network of peers, ADC helps students navigate the challenges of graduate school while creating space for innovation, leadership, and lasting connections.
