Because of its broad applicability, artificial intelligence offers a variety of career opportunities. Artificial intelligence has shown that it has the capability to adapt to different types of problems, meaning that most industries, companies, businesses and agencies can benefit from workers with a detailed understanding of artificial intelligence and how to effectively utilize it. In the 2025 World Economic Forum Future Job Report, 86% of those surveyed identified artificial intelligence as transformative to the job landscape, which will fuel the demand for those with AI and machine learning skills.
