Source: Written in 2010 by Squash Beetle Morris.
Tune: ??? as A(AB)4 (A=figures, B=chorus).
Tradition: Lexington-in-the-Bluegrass.
Formation: A set of 4.
Sequence: Once to Yourself, Up and out, Chorus, F-Gyp, Chorus,
E-Gyp, Chorus, Pop-Tarts, Chorus.
Chorus:
2 and 3 cast over right shoulder with 2 double steps, while 1 and 4
clash forehand high, forehand low, then do two pit capers turning left
to face out on the diagonal. At this point dancers are in a line on the main
diagonal, 3, 1, 4, 2, with 1 and 2 facing down and with 3 and 4 facing up.
Clash who you are facing: forehand high, backhand high, swing stick in a
circle over your head, clash forehand high.
All dance a full four person hey (hesitate at the end of the first half hey).
End in the same diagonal as you started and repeat the sticking: clash who
you are facing: forehand high, backhand high, swing stick in a
circle over your head, clash forehand high.
To return to a set, 1 and 4 do 4 pit capers turning left, forehand clash
with each other on the third caper, clash with opposite on the fourth caper.
Meanwhile, 2 and 3 cast over the left shoulder with two double steps (?)
and clash with opposite on the last beat.
Ending:
All up.
